About US

Our company was formed in 2022 when the need for interagency tracking services was noticed during the 2021 / 2022 fire season.  Most agencies track their own resources with GPS tracking devices that are cellular based and they seldom work in rural areas such as a national forest.  Furthermore, when multiple agencies respond to an incident, the overhead team is unable to digitally track the multi-agency resources on a web-based map.

Resources on a large incident  are currently being tracked with paper “t-cards” that are placed in a holder usually stuck to a wall.  Tracking the location of resources in this manner works, but it only gives a general area of the incident that the resource is assigned to.  There is no way to quickly identify the latitude & longitude of the resource.

Our company was formed to assist incident command teams with tracking multi-agency resources using satellite based trackers.  Our trackers do not rely on cellular service and function in remote areas.

The name “Florian” was chosen as St. Florian is the patron saint of firefighters and looks over them for safety just as our GPS trackers will do.

Currently, a father and son team manage the company and look forward to assisting command teams with near-real time tracking of incident resources to enhance accountability, safety and operational planning.
